The digital program 2023
This year the OWee starts on August 7th with a digital program. This day will mark the start of your student days and we have collected inspiring speakers to kick off your time in Delft, so don't miss out!
opening
During this opening you will be welcomed by inspiring people, including the Vice-Rector Magnificus, the mayor and the chairman and vice president of the OWee board!
How to survive your student journey
During this presentation you will receive some tips and tricks to make your student life a bit easier.
associations forum
Board members of all student associations talk with each other about their associations during this exciting forum!
physical program
The physical part of the OWee will take place between Sunday August 13th and Thursday August 17th this year. During this period, everything Delft has to offer will be shown to you in 5 days!
topdesk basecamp
TOPdesk Basecamp will be the place during the OWee where you can meet up with your group, chill and enjoy the atmosphere. Here you can eat, listen to music, have a drink and participate in various activities.
SUnday 13 august
Logistcal reception
The OWee starts with the Logistic receipt. Here you will meet your fellow students and receive your wristband: your ticket for the rest of the week!
Schie dinner
On Sunday a vegetarian BBQ will be organized along the Schie where you can get to know your group better ánd get a view of the associations at the Parade.
associations parade
During the Schiediner a parade will pass with every association partying, showing who they are. This way you can get a feel of all of the associations that are out there!
stud Opening party
After the Schiediner, continue to the smashing STUD Opening Party and end your first day in a fantastic way!
monday 14 august
lunch at nieuwe plantage
This day is all about the city of Delft. It is possible to eat lunch at the 'Nieuwe Plantage'.

Information market
All associations and organizations in Delft show themselves to you at the information market, you can ask questions as well!
bikesale
New to the Netherlands? Don’t miss out on the chance to explore our exclusive second-hand bike sale!
During the bikesale you can visit a workshop in Echo, hall Arena where Fietsersbond Delft will instruct you how to ride safely in the Netherlands.

Association visits
Discover the many associations Delft has to offer and take a look inside their building, the main meeting spot for association members!
Student Talk
Ask questions to a celebrity during the Student talk. What was his student time like? What advice would he have given himself when he was a student?
chdr Owaterlympics
This sports event will take place in the Delftse Hout. There will be an obstacle course, music and more fun outdoor activities.
open air cinema
Enjoy a unique experience, the open air cinema on the main square of the historic Delft.
Delft got talent
As the sun sets slowly, you shall witness the greatest talent show the university has ever seen.
There will be exciting prizes and the winner gets an opportunity to perform at the Base Festival!

Activity Market
Here you can discover what activities Delft has to offer during your time as a student! This includes sports, culture, arts, lifestyle, international student associations and much more.
Backstage Campus Tour
Here, you will be introduced to hidden spots on the TU Delft campus that you normally would not have access to. You definitely don't want to miss this!
Cantus sing-along
Finish the OWee with your mentor group during the spectacular Cantus-Sing-Along. Sing along all together!
Taste Delft
Discover Delft and get a taste of all the different bars, cafes and restaurants that Delft has to offer!
open air movie night
Under the stars with a picnic blanket, some snacks, a nice movie and the company of new found friends. Doesn’t that sound gezellig? Register to reserve a free spot for you in our open air theatre. Tickets will be checked from 21:00 onwards and the film starts at 21.30.

Finish your OWee with a fun but also informative day and visit all the stalls to become an independent student!

Lay Down Concert Experience
20.30-21.30, Theatre Hall
Enjoy beautiful music while you lay down around a grand piano. Teachers of X will play compositions for piano and violin that will help you clear your mind and relax.

Paint and Sip Tea

Drink a cup of tea and work together on a collective artwork. Transform the four canvasses into the "faces of X". Troughout the OWee people can add a bit of their unique touch to it.

Dutch Language Café

Meet new people with different cultural background. Help each other to learn new languages in an interactive and relaxed way. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.

Summer Sports Night

Sport together with (new) friends in the sun. You can play beach volleyball, frisbee and basketball. No experience needed!

Candlelight Yoga

A yoga session for all different levels, where you can have afterwards. Make sure you don't eat too much on beforehand and wear comfortable clothes. It's possible to bring your own yoga mat, but you can also borrow one at X.
