The digital program 2024
This year the OWee starts on August 12th with a digital program. This day will mark the start of your student days and we have collected inspiring speakers to kick off your time in Delft, so don't miss out!
opening
During this opening you will be welcomed by inspiring people, including the Vice-Rector Magnificus, the mayor and the chairmwoman and vice president of the OWee board!
How to survive your student journey
During this presentation you will receive some tips and tricks to make your student life a bit easier.
associations forum
Board members of all student associations talk with each other about their associations during this exciting forum!
physical program
The physical part of the OWee will take place between Sunday August 18th and Thursday August 22th this year. During this period, everything Delft has to offer will be shown to you in 5 days!
basecamp
Basecamp will be the place during the OWee where you can meet up with your group, chill and enjoy the atmosphere. Here you can eat, listen to music, have a drink and participate in various activities.
SUnday 18 august
Logistcal reception
The OWee starts with the Logistical reception. Here you will meet your fellow students and receive your wristband: your ticket for the rest of the week!
Schie dinner
On Sunday a vegetarian BBQ will be organized along the Schie where you can get to know your group better ánd get a view of the associations at the Parade.
associations parade
During the Schiediner a parade will pass with every association partying, showing who they are. This way you can get a feel of all of the associations that are out there!
Stud Opening party
After the Schiediner, continue to the smashing Opening Party and end your first day in a fantastic way!

lunch at nieuwe plantage
This day is all about the city of Delft. It is possible to eat lunch at the 'Nieuwe Plantage'.
Central opening
Here you will be welcomed by the chair of the OWee board and the executive board.

Discover Delft with your OWee group with different activities to explore the fun and characteristic spots of Delft!

Enjoy a scenic and relaxing tour through the canals of Delft! Register via this link.

All associations and organizations in Delft show themselves to you at the information market, you can ask questions as well!
tuesday 20 august
Association visits
Discover the many associations Delft has to offer and take a look inside their building, the main meeting spot for association members!
Student Talk
Ask questions to Matthijs van Kouwen (TU Delft graduate and writer) during the Student talk. What was his student time like? What advice would he have given himself when he was a student?
Owaterlympics
This sports event will take place in the Delftse Hout. There will be an obstacle course, music and more fun outdoor activities.
open air cinema
Enjoy a unique experience, the open air cinema on the main square of the historic Delft.
Delft got talent (ip)
As the sun sets slowly, you shall witness the greatest talent show the university has ever seen.
There will be exciting prizes.

Activity Market
Here you can discover what activities Delft has to offer during your time as a student and you can discover X where a lot of these activities take place ! This includes sports, culture, arts, lifestyle, international student associations and much more.
Backstage Campus Tour
Here, you will be introduced to hidden spots on the TU Delft campus that you normally would not have access to. You definitely don't want to miss this!
Cantus sing-along
Finish the OWee with your mentor group during the spectacular Cantus-Sing-Along. Sing along all together!
Taste Delft
Discover Delft and get a taste of all the different bars, cafes and restaurants that Delft has to offer!
open air movie night (ip)
Under the stars with a picnic blanket, some snacks, a nice movie and the company of new found friends. Register later this year to reserve a free spot for you in our open air theatre.

Finish your OWee with a fun but also informative day and visit all the stalls to become an independent student!

Lie Down Piano Concert
20.30-21.30, Theatre Hall
Enjoy beautiful music while you lay down around a grand piano. Teachers of X will play compositions for piano and violin that will help you clear your mind and relax. Bringing a sleeping/yoga mat is recommended, though there will be some available.

Karayoga
20.30-21.30, Body & Mind
A yoga session combined with karaoke. Experience is not necessary it's about having fun! Make sure you wear comfortable clothes.

Let your creativity run wild and come paint, draw and craft. If you want you can meet new people. You can walk in whenever you want.

Welcome to the land of "kroketten, poffertjes & stroopwafels". The Delft Improv Group gives a short introduction to Dutch culture, with tips and tricks to charm the locals. You'll leave with both useful and useless knowledge about Dutch culture.

A yoga session for all levels, surrounded by the soft glow of candlelight. Make sure that you haven't eaten too much and that you're wearing comfortable clothing. It is possible to bring your own yoga mat, but you can also borrow one from X.

Enjoy a game of table tennis in X's Boogie Wonderland. In the meantime you can enjoy disco music! Drop in whenever you want.
