The SteeWee is THE weekend to meet new fellow students for the first time and get a taste of student culture. The weekend will take place from Friday, August 15, to Sunday, August 17, after which participants can directly continue to the OWee.

The price for the weekend will be around €90 (including membership with Stylos). For this price, participants will receive accommodation for the entire weekend, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (excluding drinks). This is also THE opportunity to get to know fellow students in a different setting.

During the weekend, participants will be introduced to the Faculty of Architecture, the study association Stylos, the city of Delft, and, of course, each other. Various activities will take place during the day, both at the Faculty of Architecture and elsewhere in the city. In the evening, participants can party until the late hours with a beer or a non-alcoholic drink. For those who prefer a quieter evening, there will also be more relaxed activities available.

All in all, it promises to be an epic weekend that should not be missed! We look forward to seeing you there!

The EOW (Electro Reception Weekend) is a 4-day event filled with activities where you not only get to know your fellow first-year students, but also the study program, the faculty, Delft, and the Electrical Engineering Association (the study association for Electrical Engineering, abbreviated as ETV).

This year, the weekend will take place from Thursday, August 15th, to Sunday, August 17th, after which you can proceed directly to the OWee. The registration fee will be around €75, of which €25 is registration fee for the ETV. After this, you will be a member for the rest of your study period, giving you discounts on books and access to all our activities. So, be sure to register! Get to know all your future classmates at the legendary Freshmen Weekend! of Industrial Design Engineering. This weekend is filled with fun, interesting, and inspiring activities to help you bond with your fellow students.

During this event, you will stay at the faculty where you will also be studying, allowing you to get to know it well!

This weekend will take place from August 16th to 18th (prior to the OWee). The total cost is 60 euros, which includes membership in the student association! For this amount, you will receive: accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and entertainment.

During the First-Year Weekend for Mechanical Engineering, all first-year students will meet each other for the first time. You'll get to know each other through various activities, including a cantus, festival, and games! This is your chance to meet your fellow students and make your first friends within Delft and the Mechanical Engineering program. Additionally, during this weekend, you'll form your OWee group, with whom you'll spend the entire OWee and the first part of your studies.

The weekend takes place from August 15th to 17th and the costs are 140 euros for people who are over 18 years old, and 125 euros for people who are under 18 years old. Included in this price are:

  • A whole weekend of activities and socializing with your new classmates
  • Food and drinks during the weekend
  • Membership of Gezelschap Leeghwater, which allows you to enjoy fun activities, educational support, and book sales during your studies
  • An overall, which is mandatory in all workspaces of the faculty

During the introduction weekend for first-year students of Earth, Climate, and Technology (August 14-17), we will travel abroad and explore many of the interesting aspects our program has to offer.

We will start with a visit to several companies where an EC&T student might work in the future, after which we will continue our journey to Belgium. In addition to a few excursions and a geological walk, there will be plenty of free time to get to know your fellow students better! Moreover, you will learn more about the study association and its committees when all committee members join us for a day of partying in Belgium!

The  Freshmen Weekend provides you with the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow students before the official start of the academic year. It's really fun to walk into the lecture hall on the first day and see your new friends whom you met during the First-Year Weekend. 

The study associations of MST, the Chemisch Dispuut Leiden and the Technologisch Gezelschap, organize a weekend filled with enjoyable activities, a city game, lots of singing, and of course, parties!

The VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ is the study association of Aerospace Engineering (AE).

From the 14th until the 17th of August, the VSV organizes its Freshmen Weekend, with more than 300 first-year students. This is the opportunity to get to know your fellow AE-students, the VSV, and the study program.

Are you planning to pursue a program within the Agri, Food, and Life Sciences department next year? Then you've come to the right place at the FMC study association!

At FMC, or Futurum Mundus Clementia, we organize a very enjoyable first-year weekend every summer for new first-year students. We do this together with students from the 4 green programs at Hogeschool Inholland in Delft. This way, you not only get to know people from your own program but also students from other programs. After the EJW, you'll run into each other at school and can catch up or study together! Furthermore, you'll get to know the study association, so you can participate in fun parties and study-related activities during your studies.

This summer, the EJW will take place from August 15th to 17th.

The admission fee will be 70 euros. For this amount, the following is included:

  • 2 nights in a beautiful scouting building next to the Delftse Hout
  • Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner
