Freshmen weekend

The SteeWee is THE weekend to meet new fellow students for the first time and get a taste of student culture. The weekend will take place from Friday, August 15, to Sunday, August 17, after which participants can directly continue to the OWee.

The price for the weekend will be around €90 (including membership with Stylos). For this price, participants will receive accommodation for the entire weekend, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (excluding drinks). This is also THE opportunity to get to know fellow students in a different setting.

During the weekend, participants will be introduced to the Faculty of Architecture, the study association Stylos, the city of Delft, and, of course, each other. Various activities will take place during the day, both at the Faculty of Architecture and elsewhere in the city. In the evening, participants can party until the late hours with a beer or a non-alcoholic drink. For those who prefer a quieter evening, there will also be more relaxed activities available.

All in all, it promises to be an epic weekend that should not be missed! We look forward to seeing you there!

The EOW (Electro Reception Weekend) is a 4-day event filled with activities where you not only get to know your fellow first-year students, but also the study program, the faculty, Delft, and the Electrical Engineering Association (the study association for Electrical Engineering, abbreviated as ETV).

This year, the weekend will take place from Thursday, August 15th, to Sunday, August 17th, after which you can proceed directly to the OWee. The registration fee will be around €75, of which €25 is registration fee for the ETV. After this, you will be a member for the rest of your study period, giving you discounts on books and access to all our activities. So, be sure to register! Get to know all your future classmates at the legendary Freshmen Weekend! of Industrial Design Engineering. This weekend is filled with fun, interesting, and inspiring activities to help you bond with your fellow students.

During this event, you will stay at the faculty where you will also be studying, allowing you to get to know it well!

This weekend will take place from August 16th to 18th (prior to the OWee). The total cost is 60 euros, which includes membership in the student association! For this amount, you will receive: accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and entertainment.

During the First-Year Weekend for Mechanical Engineering, all first-year students will meet each other for the first time. You'll get to know each other through various activities, including a cantus, festival, and games! This is your chance to meet your fellow students and make your first friends within Delft and the Mechanical Engineering program. Additionally, during this weekend, you'll form your OWee group, with whom you'll spend the entire OWee and the first part of your studies.

The weekend takes place from August 15th to 17th and the costs are 140 euros for people who are over 18 years old, and 125 euros for people who are under 18 years old. Included in this price are:

• A whole weekend of activities and socializing with your new classmates
• Food and drinks during the weekend
• Membership of Gezelschap Leeghwater, which allows you to enjoy fun activities, educational support, and book sales during your studies
• An overall, which is mandatory in all workspaces of the faculty

During the introduction weekend for first-year students of Earth, Climate, and Technology (August 14-17), we will travel abroad and explore many of the interesting aspects our program has to offer.

We will start with a visit to several companies where an EC&T student might work in the future, after which we will continue our journey to Belgium. In addition to a few excursions and a geological walk, there will be plenty of free time to get to know your fellow students better! Moreover, you will learn more about the study association and its committees when all committee members join us for a day of partying in Belgium!

Hey there, future Civil Engineering student!

The Civil Reception Weekend, also known as COW, is the most fun you'll ever have in a single weekend. It's the perfect opportunity to quickly get to know your fellow students and make lifelong friends! This epic weekend takes place from August 14 to 17, just before the OWee. During this time, you'll enjoy a variety of fun activities, including a traditional cantus and large group games. Not only will you get to know your fellow newcomers, but you'll also discover what Civil Engineering and its study association, Het Gezelschap "Practische Studie" (PS), have to offer. You will be studying Life Science and Technology next year. To get to know your fellow first-year students, S.V. LIFE is organizing a first-year weekend. This weekend will take place from Friday, August 8 to Sunday, August 10, before the OWEE and El Cid. The weekend will include activities, exploration, and meeting new people.

The cost of the introduction weekend will be approximately €65. This includes access to the weekend, accommodation, and food and drinks.

Hey incoming first-year KT students!

The Freshmen Weekend (EJW) is a super fun weekend (August 15th-17th), where you'll first experience student life. During the weekend, we'll organize various enjoyable activities to get to know each other, KT, Variscopic (the study association of KT), Delft, Leiden, and Rotterdam better. The evenings will, of course, be filled with fun parties and a cantus! The EJW will cost approximately €100, which includes a super epic weekend with two overnight stays, two breakfasts, dinner and lunch, various activities and parties, and a bus trip back to Delft! This is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your journey in Delft, forge lifelong friendships, and form a group to experience the OWee and your student life together. Six enthusiastic second-year TB students, on behalf of the study association Curius, have been working for months to make the weekend unforgettable! How exciting that you're planning to study MST! Here's some information about our Freshmen Weekend.
The  Freshmen Weekend provides you with the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow students before the official start of the academic year. It's really fun to walk into the lecture hall on the first day and see your new friends whom you met during the First-Year Weekend. 

The study associations of MST, the Chemisch Dispuut Leiden and the Technologisch Gezelschap, organize a weekend filled with enjoyable activities, a city game, lots of singing, and of course, parties! 

The weekend starts on Friday, August 8th, and ends on Monday, August 11th. Don't worry, you can still make it to the OWee and/or EL CID on time as the program concludes in the morning.

The VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ is the study association of Aerospace Engineering (AE).

From the 14th until the 17th of August, the VSV organizes its Freshmen Weekend, with more than 300 first-year students. This is the opportunity to get to know your fellow AE-students, the VSV, and the study program.

For €110 you will get a sleeping spot, food, and a fun weekend with several aerospace-related activities, but most importantly, plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow students!

ASSOCIATION FOR TECHNICAL PHYSICS

At the Freshman Weekend, you will get to know the study program, the study association (VvTP), and other incoming first-year students! This will be done through enjoyable activities and exciting parties that go on late into the night! 

During this fantastic weekend, mentor groups will also be formed for the rest of your first year, creating friendships that will last a lifetime! In short, you don't want to miss out on this!

The EJW will take place from August 15th to 17th. Afterwards, you will be able to be dropped off in Delft for the start of the OWee. The EJW costs around 95 euros, which includes your membership fee.

W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' is the study association for mathematics and computer science. We are organizing the freshmen weekend from August 8th to 10th. During this weekend, there will be various enjoyable activities to get to know your fellow students. We're a very close-knit community, and this weekend is crucial for getting to know each other and introducing you to the association. They not only provide discounts on your study books but also facilitate connections with companies where you might want to work in the future. During the first-year weekend, you'll even go on an excursion to Damen, where you'll get a firsthand look at the maritime sector in action.
